The second edition of the women's week celebration of College of Health Yamfo organized under the auspices of the Women's Commissioner of the SRC came off last weekend and as planned there was various activities organized for the ladies of the college as part of the celebrations ,which started from the Friday and climaxed on the Sunday 19th January 2020.This year's celebration was based on the theme; "BE COURAGEOUS AND STAND OUT"
In view of this,KhensBloG presents a snapshot of what happened with respect to the celebrations.
On the Friday the WOCOM together with some staff and students called on the Duayaw Nkwanta Prisons and made some donations to the inmates of the prison.In the evening was a relationship seminar by the guest speaker in the person of Deacon Ebenezer Boakye .
Saturday saw a series of skills training to give the ladies some skills in yogurt preparation by Mr. Francis Ameyaw and pastries making by Mad. Fransisca.
In the evening was a motivational seminar coupled by Lady Pastor Maame Esi Barnsley which was coupled with cocktail party, the special guests were Mr. Boakye Barimah Emmanuel,Mad.Naana Fransisca the Estate Manager and Dean of Students of the college respectively,Mad.Commey Rebecca,some staffs and the SRC executives.
The night also saw a staged play(drama) from the group Chronicles of CoHY and performance from the best dancer of CoHY, ZaraGoza.
This was what we gathered from the celebrations,we say big ups to the WOCOM miss Veronica Teiko,organizers,photographers and all parties who were involved, we looking forward to the next Women's week Celebrations, hopefully a bigger and better one.
