The official entertainment and sports program organized to welcome students more especially the freshers into the College went down this weekend ,with various activities from the Friday 29th of November to the Sunday 1st of December.
Friday 29th November saw a night of Jamboree,indoor games and bonfire set-up coupled with Gyama from the Morale Boys.
Saturday 30th November, started with a clean up exercise in the morning, organized under the auspices of the 1st runner up of Miss Common wealth 2019 Miss Portia, co-partnered by the SRC in and around campus,after which there was float through the Principal street of Yamfo.
The afternoon was a "Rep your Jersey" affair for the opening of the CoHY Recreational League (Aponkye League), in the evening was a night of variety show with musical and dance performances,climaxed with Jams.
Sunday 1st December was the climax of the whole celebrations with a Thanks Giving Service.
In all it was an exciting weekend,looking forward to a better and bigger Akwaaba Fest hopefully in 2020.
