REASON WHY THE BOTTOM BUTTON OF SUITS ARE ALWAYS UNBUTTONED (PICTURES)

There have been many people who have observed and thought as much, why most stylists and fashionistas say,the bottom button of suits should never be buttoned.Nevertheless we still have people who still button all their suit buttons regardless of the "fashion rule" that states the contrary.
So one may ask these questions which still stands, why should I leave the bottom button of my suit  unbuttoned ? Is it a okay to keep all buttons on my suit buttoned?

It is for this reason we've delved into the history and archives of fashion to demystify this very notion
as we present this comprehensive article to address the aforementioned narrative.

This fashion rule as we may call it dates back to the early 20th century, the story starts from King Edward VII of United Kingdom of Great Britain. He was the was the eldest son of Queen Victoria and also the Prince of Wales from  1841 to 1901 as well.King Edward VII was the king of the Great Britain from 1901 to 1910, when he passed on and was succeeded by King George the V.

Now lets get into why King Edward is playing  the pivotal role in the unbuttoning of the last button of suits. When  suits were becoming vogue,King Edward was a fat person and as such he became fat for his waist coat and suit so he stopped buttoning the bottom button of  his waist coat and suits to fit better and also feel more comfortable.

This became  fashion  when the courts and subsequently almost everyone in England and British Colonies also kept the last buttons of their suits unbuttoned out of respect to the King Edward VII who couldn't or didn't button the last buttons of his waist coat and suit because he was fat but not because he so  wished to do it so.This has become extant in men's fashion straight from the 20th century to modern day and this "fashion rule" is widely  regarded not only in the UK but across the world.

This Edwardian Theory, as called by Robert Johnson a UK Fashion Director, isn't always taken seriously and sounds someway somehow silly but historians of British Fashion consider it as a fact. Thus,King Edward set the trend of keeping the bottom buttons of waist coats and suits unbuttoned ,King Edward is praised and regarded as legendary and iconic for his attention and contribution to men's fashion.

Now we  hope the doubts in the minds of many have been cleared with respect to buttoning suits, but one one question which still stands that is , Is okay to keep all the buttons on a suit buttoned?
My take on this is simple, fashion as we say is dynamic and not static and such could be changed by the individual to make it suitable for him but again one the fact still remains that unbuttoning the last button of suits has become a phenomenon and has stayed for ages.
So with regards to the aforementioned question, in as much as you want to bring up your new style or wondering if it is ideal to button up all the buttons on your suit also take note of the saying "if you cant beat them, join them".
